Kristine Reynolds

Master Stylist & Owner

Kristine Reynolds was born and raised in Southern California. Hoping for a slower paced life she moved with her husband and daughter to Rathdrum in 2014. Here she met Edina and the two bonded over the desire to open their own salon in town.

Kristine has been licensed since 1993 and quickly proved she was born to do hair when only 6 months after graduating from Cosmetology School she was hired on by Rusk, Inc. as an in salon educator and platform artist. Kristine's ability to teach made her a favorite in the region and highly sought after by the distributor. She traveled all over the southwest demonstrating techniques on stage in front of hundreds of trade show visitors. She continued on this journey with Rusk getting the best education and experience a stylist can ask for for more than five years.

In 2000 she gave birth to her daughter. Wanting to stay close to home, she focused on salon work from then on. Many times over the last 25 years Kristine has attempted to open her own salon but it was never the right fit or perfect time. Finally, in Rathdrum and with Edina, the time was right!

Kristine is a well rounded hair stylist that can face any challenge placed in front of her. She especially thrives on difficult color corrections and hard to please clients. She also specializes in formal hairstyles and loves to make brides and prom girls beautiful on their most special occasions.

Currently, Kristine uses Kenra Color as her main color line and also uses Scruples and Redken Shades EQ for specialty uses. She uses Blazing Highlights to achieve highlights over color-treated hair without the use of bleach. Another specialty product in her repertoire is Olaplex. Olaplex is a bond repairing additive which protects hair from breakage during chemical processes. Above all Kristine is a very conservative stylist who insists on getting from point A to point B in the least damaging way possible.

If you have been unhappy time after time with stylist after stylist, give Kristine a try!
